Swimming around Lednice
Mill pond
Mill pond is part of NPR Lednice ponds and is located 100-150 m from the campsite Apollo named after the nearby Temple of Apollo. The temple of Apollo (whose walls are decorated with plastic scenes from the myth about the ancient god) is surrounded by a park. By tortuous paths lined by exotic trees visitors come to the shores of Mill pond. Reservoir with an area of 86 ha serves for swimming especially in the spring and early summer when its shimmering surface still isn't not covered by cyanobacterias. This pond is completely in the east and tourists will love it most. The natural swimming pool is accessible by asphalt road from Břeclav - about 6 km northwest from the city center. The pond is made partly as a sandy beach and the rest as a grassy beaches.

Indoor pool and summer swimming pool Břeclav
If you wish to swim or to pursue other water fun activities even during bad weather you can visit the indoor pool in Břeclav (about 6 km).

Swimming pool Riviéra Mikulov
If you have a way to Mikulov or planning to wander through its surroundings, you should consider (especially during hot weather) visit of the local swimming pool, which has a swimming pool, a recreational pool, children's wading pool, water slide of 54 m, slide of 24 m and depository of bikes and backpacks.

Fans of fishing has a great opportunity in Lednice. Moravian Fishing Association a local organization of Lednice manages fishing ground DYJE 4D which has a total of 41.4 ha of water surface.
- 3.5 km of the main stream Thaya river from the road bridge on communication Podivín-Lednice to weir in the Bulgar
- 8 ha - Old trough of Thaya from the confluence of the Chateau Thaya
- the Chateau Thaya from the confluence with the Old trough of the Thaya to head regulator on Herdy
- 1.6 ha - Golden horn
- 4,2 ha - Cutoff branch under Ashanti
